The Wrapit Wedding Industry Awards 2008, sponsored by Condé Nast Brides and Wedgwood, in association with The National Wedding Show was a fantastic success.

In July last year we invited wedding suppliers from across the country to enter the first National Awards, in a hunt to find the best that the wedding industry has to offer. The votes flooded in for the 280 entrants from over 7,000 brides, eager to support the wedding expert who made their dream day such a success.

Size of the business and number of clients were not factors and ALL suppliers - big or small, new or well established - had an equal chance of winning.





*Companies supplying a product or service, not falling into the above categories but which add a little extra to the wedding day (For example: favours, chocolate fountains, children's activities etc.)





The judges had a difficult job selecting the Regional Shortlist from the 280 entrants. This proved an even bigger challenge when it came to selecting the National Finalists who were announced at three regional ceremonies across the country in Manchester, Birmingham and London. A busy 8 months culminated in the announcement of the National Winners at a glittering awards ceremony in Claridge’s, Mayfair on Wednesday 20th February 2008.
